We understand that many people might not be able to make their local Community Forum, but might well want to take part and engage with the decision making and conversation.
Tonight anyone can take part in the Shipston and Stour Community Forum being held at Pillerton Priors Village Hall, by using the hashtag #shipstonlive on Twitter.
The drop-in surgery for the forum gets underway at 6.30pm and the Community Forum itself starts at 7pm, and we will be monitoring and answering tweets using #shipstonlive throughout the evening.
The forum aims to give everyone the chance to have a say in what is happening in their community, and by using Twitter Warwickshire County Council hopes to give me people the chance to get involved.
There will be lots of experts on hand, including councillors from Warwickshire County Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council, and officers from Warwickshire Police.
Discussions at the forum tonight will include:
- Superfast Broadband Is on It’s Way
- Stour Vision – The Next Steps
- Town and Parish Councils Supporting Each Other
This forum follows the live streaming of a Shipston forum in June, and we hope to once again stream a community forum live at the December meeting.
Tonight the event will be updated on at @warksdirect with all the tweets featuring the hashtag #shipstonlive to enable people to ask questions and take part in the event through the social media channel.
