Showcase event is Going for Growth!

More high profile businesses are signing up to be part of a showcase event in Warwickshire next month.

Companies recently signed up to exhibit at the inaugural Warwickshire Expo include Alstom, Triton Showers and NFU Mutual, as well as Holland & Barrett and Telent, to add the array of impressive names that will be at the event.

They will be joining big firms such as Alliance Medical, Alumet, Codemasters and many others who have already signed up.

The Warwickshire Expo is being organised by Warwickshire County Council as part of the Going for Growth initiative, and will feature representatives from a variety of sectors, including the automotive industry. World-class organisations from this field such as Jaguar Land Rover, MIRA, Ricardo, Brose and Automotive Insulations are supporting the event.

The Warwickshire Expo takes place at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre near Leamington on 21 and 22March.

The first day of the event will focus on ‘Careers, Education and Training’ and is open to the public. The aim is for schoolchildren and students to see for themselves the range of impressive companies located in the county, and to encourage young people to think about their future and what they can do to embark on a career. Organisations including Warwickshire College, WMG, Coventry University and CSWP will also be exhibiting at the event.

The second day will be for business networking, and will feature a range of informative seminars throughout the day.

Cllr Alan Farnell, Leader of Warwickshire County Council, said: “It is great to see that interest in the Expo is growing, with more of Warwickshire’s innovative and renowned organisations getting involved in the event.  These companies are an asset to the area, and we are proud to be showcasing them at this flagship event.

“The Going for Growth initiative was designed to engage with local companies and spread the word that they have chosen Warwickshire as the place to do business.”

Limited exhibition space is still available for any Warwickshire-based companies involved in the manufacturing, technology or innovation sectors.  The stands are going quick, so visit for more information.GFG
