Community Safety team support socially isolated people in Stratford

People in the Stratford area who feel isolated have a link to the community with new drop-in sessions.

If so, visit The Buzz Café in Stratford-upon-Avon on Tuesday and Thursday between 10:30 and 12:30.

Warwickshire County Council’s Community Safety team are working in partnership to deliver the Stratford Link Project. Partners include:

  • Bromford Support
  • Stratford District Council
  • Stratford Town Trust
  • Warwickshire Police
  • ESH Works
  • The Recovery Partnership

Stratford Link is an initiative to provide support for anyone in the community who is socially isolated and experiencing specific issues such as financial difficulties, alcohol & substance misuse, is out of work or training, or has a lack of positive outlets and opportunities.

The Buzz Café provides a relaxed and neutral environment for people to engage with others and access the facilities. Two laptops are available to access the Internet,  Stratford District Council have given access to a vegetable patch, and there are additional courses to attend depending on individual interests.

Breakfast style food and drink is available to those who attend and is free of charge.

Pop down to the Café at St. Gregory’s Hall, Henley Street,  between the hours of 10:30-12:30 in order to view the project and to find out more.

There is parking in the Windsor Street Multi story car park opposite (note a pay and display).
