Warwickshire schoolchildren are getting outdoors searching for characters as they play the latest phenomenon to sweep the nation, Pokemon Go.
Characters from the game can be found in Warwickshire’s country parks. Additional points are available for the children who walk to the parks.
Heritage and Environment manager for Warwickshire County Council, Stuart Ikeringill, said: “I am thrilled that this latest craze is getting children out of the house and to our country parks. As long as they are being safe, it is wonderful news that more and more kids are getting out, having exercise and seeing what our country parks can offer. We hope that even after they have stopped playing Pokemon Go, they continue to visit an enjoy our parks.”
