See renowned folk singer Jim Causley at Leamington Library

Jim-CausleyFive times BBC Radio 2 folk award nominee Jim Causley is bringing his exciting and infectious brand of folk music to Leamington on Tuesday 6th December.

This popular and talented singer/musician is building quite a reputation across the folk scene with his passionate interpretation of traditional song.

Jim has a relaxed and playful stage presence with a deep, rich and evocative voice which belies his years. The combination is an irresistible mixture of music and fun.

With MOJO music magazine haling him: “the finest male folk singer of his generation”, the Devon born singer continues to receive plaudits for his memorable shows and universally acclaimed albums.

Jim will be performing songs from his recent album ‘Cyprus Well’, inspired by Jim’s relative, Charles Causley, the celebrated Cornish poet. The audience can expect an entertaining evening filled with moving and uplifting songs.

The show starts in the library at 7pm and tickets are available now at just £5 each (including refreshments) directly from Leamington Library.
