When: Sunday 23rd April (between 10:00 – 16:00 hours)
Where: Kenilworth Fire Station, School Lane, Kenilworth.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service are recruiting for Whole time Firefighters. The application process opened on the 12th April 2017.
This Sunday (23rd April), The Service are running a ‘Have a Go’ taster day in Kenilworth for potential female applicants with the opportunity to learn more about the Service and be able to experience some of the aspects of the physical and fitness tests. This is a positive action event which enables us to encourage those underrepresented in our communities to come along to get an insight into what the role of a firefighter entails, gaining hands on experience on the job related test exercises involved in the recruitment process. It is hoped that this will go on to encourage more people to successfully join the fantastic crews we already have.
If you are interested in attending this event, or would like to find out more call 01926 852223 during office hours and ask for Leeanna Kostka or Keith Mc Dermott. Outside office hours please leave a name and contact number, and a member of the team will contact you to confirm your attendance. You must confirm your attendance by 17:00hrs Friday 21st April at the latest.
