A further closure to Nuneaton Library has been announced as work on the final phase of the maintenance programme is completed.
A new air conditioning system is being installed and will require the library to be closed while work takes place for the safety of the customers.
Work will begin on 8 January, allowing customers to stock up after the Christmas break and to access the IT. The library will then reopen as normal on 11 January.
Cllr Kam Kaur, portfolio holder for Customer Services, said: “The work is part of the maintenance programme but we have held it back to allow the library to operate over the holiday season. We have spoken to customers to see what would suit them. Our hope, in choosing these dates for work, is that disruption will be kept to the minimum for customers.”
