More opportunities to visit Warwick’s unique historic building coming up…
Out of more than 100 people that took the opportunity to take a look around when The Old Shire Hall opened its doors to visitors for free on Warwick’s Victorian Evening last year, Sarah Booth (pictured, right) was the lucky winner of a fizzy fun prize draw to win a bottle of Prosecco!
Sarah was presented with her prize by the venue’s Head of Events, Harriet Lund (pictured, left), in the grand surroundings of the historic building’s The Great Hall, with its striking stone columns, classic compartmental ceiling and period chandeliers.
If you missed out on paying a visit over Christmas, there are many more opportunities to enjoy the building coming up in the next few weeks, starting with an evening of elegance featuring Prosecco cocktails and fabulous street food to tempt and delight on Saturday 17th February.
Lovers of Prosecco are invited to enjoy a little sparkle in the atmospheric surroundings of the venue’s Judges House – making the event perfect for a Valentine’s treat. The evening runs from 6pm – 11pm and costs £45 per person, to include five Prosecco cocktails, a street food buffet and entertainment.
The Old Shire Hall is also the venue for Wine Poole’s Wine Tasting Dinner on Wednesday 28th February, with a fabulous selection of six wines lined up and a three course dinner provided by Wild View Events catering. Three courses are £28.95 and Wine Poole will be matching wines to the menu.
If you’re planning a wedding in 2018 or beyond, whatever stage you are at, don’t miss the perfect opportunity to take a look around this unique venue dressed for a wedding at The Old Shire Hall’s Spring Wedding Fair on Sunday 4th March.
Come along and chat to local wedding suppliers whilst sipping fizz and trying tasty canapes at this free event. The team will be on hand to answer any questions and discuss any ideas you may have.
And if you’re looking for somewhere to take time out to treat your Mum, The Old Shire Hall will be offering a delicious Sunday lunch or afternoon tea on Mother’s Day, Sunday 11th March.
