For a good value, great day in the great outdoors, Warwickshire’s five country parks offer plenty of year round facilities and activities for family, walkers, wildlife watchers and picnickers.
There is no entry fee to the parks but for visitors coming by car parking fees apply. Regular visitors can however make significant savings by purchasing a parks permit which gives unlimited access 364 days a year during park opening hours.
In addition to the annual ‘all parks’ permit priced at £97, which gives you access to all Country Parks across Warwickshire, individual permits or North and South permits are also available.
The North parks permit covers Kingsbury, Hartshill Hayes and Pooley Country Park at a great price of £77. Parks in the South are Ryton Pools Country Park and Burton Dassett Hills at just £48.00.
Permits are valid from the date of purchase and can be purchased from Visitor Centres at Ryton and Kingsbury or at the Tea Kiosk at Hartshill or Pooley Tea Room or you can buy them from the comfort of your sofa, on-line at www.warwickshire.gov.uk/parks. Click on ‘Apply for a permit’.
