Pupils at Bilton C of E Junior School in Rugby will be getting set for the Royal Wedding with a special celebratory lunch on Friday (18th May) thanks to their school caterers, Educaterers.
The school and their catering team will be putting on a special picnic lunch for the children to mark the marriage of Harry and Meghan, with party sausages or vegetarian Quorn party chipolatas, ham and cheese sandwiches and vegetable crudités all on the menu.
The Educaterers team will also be serving up flapjacks, chocolate oatcakes and fruit, all washed down with Radnor fruit juice, to help the junior school pupils get into the street party spirit on the last school day before the Royal Wedding on Saturday.
Terry Tredget, Director of Catering at Educaterers, said: “I’m sure the pupils at Bilton C of E Junior School will have a brilliant lunch time on Friday at their Royal Wedding picnic, which will give them a bit of a change from their usual menu.
“Our local catering teams are always coming up with new ways to get their school children engaged at lunch times and enjoying a selection of foods, and I’d like to thank our staff at Bilton C of E Junior School for putting on this lovely event for the pupils. Our staff are our greatest asset.”
Primary, junior and infant schools using the Educaterers service have recently had special menus for St George’s Day and Chinese New Year, and will soon be holding special lunches for Father’s Day and the World Cup.
Educaterers provide over 120,000 meals every week to 195 schools across Warwickshire. For more information visit www.educaterers.co.uk.
