Warwickshire County Council is pleased to announce the appointment of P3 (People, Potential, Possibilities) to provide an accommodation-based housing related support service across Warwickshire from 1 August 2019.
The new service will continue to provide support to vulnerable people aged 25 and over to enable them to build or maintain the skills required to live independently and therefore preventing problems that can cause homelessness, hospitalisation or institutional care.
Cllr Les Caborn, Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health said:
“Housing Related Support is a key part of Warwickshire County Council’s commitment to supporting the most vulnerable people in our communities. The council knows that our customers prefer to live independently and we support them in doing so. Not only is it their preference but it also enables us to make our resources go further.
“We look forward to working with P3 whilst they support Warwickshire residents to gain the skills to maintain their independence and lead happy, healthy lives.”

Our approach is to not offer a one-size fits all service, but to see each client as an individual and offer bespoke, tailored support to enable them to overcome their own personal barriers.
“Together, we will work to ensure people are informed and engaged with, and the transition to P3 is both smooth and positive for the people accessing the service.”
This service was appointed following a recommissioning process and will replace the current service provided by Home Group who chose not to retender.

Warwickshire County Council, P3 and Home Group will now be working together to ensure a smooth transition to the new service, with the needs of existing customers being the first priority.
