AT 0939 hours Monday 16th December, Fire Control received a call to alarms ringing and smoke issuing from the roof at the Town Hall, Coton Road, Nuneaton. Two appliances from Nuneaton attended , upon arrival requested further assistance of an additional two appliances and an aerial appliance. Further crews from Atherstone, Bedworth and the aerial from Leamington mobilised. This incident involves a three storey building approx 200 x 60 used as Council Offices, Fire is located in the roof void. At 1026 hours further appliances requested to assist with this incident . There are now six pumping appliances and an aerial appliance in attendance. Crews gaining access to roofspace to deal with incident. Crews are using Breathing Apparatus , Hose Reel Jets , Hydrants and ladder to deal with this incident.
