Adoption Central England promotes National Adoption Week 2019 across the regions

The focus of National Adoption Week this year is to find families for children who wait the longest for a loving home – we are looking for more families for groups of brothers and sisters, children from black and minority ethnic backgrounds, older children up to 10 years and for children who have some level of developmental delay or a complex health need.

ACE – Adoption Central England is the regional adoption agency for Coventry, Solihull, Warwickshire and Worcestershire and Herefordshire. It is service hosted by Warwickshire County Council on behalf of the other local authorities.

Councillor Jeff Morgan, speaking on behalf of Warwickshire County Council, said: “ACE provides a comprehensive and dedicated service. ACE is professional and reliable and puts children’s needs at the centre of all their decision making. They provide training and support to families along their adoption journey”.

ACE has been able to place the majority of children with ACE approved families which means that the families can be well supported from the point that they adopt and beyond as necessary. There is a range of local support services and training opportunities in place for people who adopt. This leads to successful outcomes for children and families.

Find out more about adopting through ACE from the ACE Facebook Page. To support National Adoption Week we are running a competition with prizes donated by GO APE, Worcester Warriors, Warwick Castle, SR Dance Academy, Jonah Jones Martial Arts and The Snow Dome – people can enter the prize by commenting on our competition posts.
