House Fire – Nuneaton

At 22:32 Sunday 27th January, Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service  received a call to a report of a bedroom on fire. The property is located on the Queen Elizabeth Road, Camphill, Nuneaton. Two appliances from Nuneaton have been mobilised and were in attendance within four minutes of the 999 call being placed. An informative message was received at 22:46 and stated that the incident involved one unoccupied domestic property, 5m x5m, fire located in 1st floor bedroom, two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus (BA) and using one hose reel are extinguishing the fire, a covering jet is also being deployed. An assistance message was received at 22:48 for a further appliance which has been mobilised from Atherstone. A further informative message was received at 23:05 stating two further firefighters in BA are in use with a further hose reel, crews have a 9M ladder, lighting and small gear in use, crews expect to be detained at the incident for a further hour.
