House Fire – Nuneaton

At 19:31 hours Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service received 3 emergency 999 calls to reports of a house fire person reported on Park Lane, Nuneaton. Two appliances from Nuneaton and one from Atherstone were mobilised. The first impression message of the incident confirmed flat well alight. An informative message was received at 19:51 stating a building comprising of two floors approx 30M x 30M used as domestic flats, fire located on first floor, one flat fully involved in fire, 6 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus using 2 hose reels, one 9M ladder was also in use, crews were in oscar offensive mode and crews requested the attendance of ambulance as two persons suffering from smoke inhalation. All persons were accounted for. The electricity board and local authority also requested to attend. Further information stated that crews were using positive pressure fan, breathing apparatus, hose reel jets, covering jet, thermal imaging camera, triple extension ladder, 9M ladder and small gear. Crews were in attendance for 90 minutes
