At 1936 hours this evening, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service Emergency Control Room received a call to a vehicle fire following a road traffic collision on the M40 motorway between junctions 15 and 16 on the northbound carriageway. Two fire appliances from Leamington proceeded along with Police and Ambulance crews. Upon arrival, fire crews found there had been a collision between two private motor vehicles. One vehicle was well alight. The occupants had minor injuries only and were being dealt with by Warwickshire Ambulance Service. Fire crews were in attendance for approx 50 minutes.
