Four fire engines, from Henley in Arden, Coleshill, Solihull and Billesley attended a fire in derelict farm buildings on Aylesbury Road, Hockley Heath, Warwickshire, following an emergency call into Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Services’ Fire Control Room at 00:06 hours this morning. Fire crews initially had difficulty gaining access to the incident due to the security barriers that were in place. Clan lucas cutting equipment was used to gain access. The outbuildings were well alight when fire crews arrived. The fire fighters used hose reels, water relay, main hydrants, breathing apparatus, lighting, small gear and cutting equipment to tackle the fire. Crews expect to be in attendance for a further 60 minutes.
