Derelict building fire – Baddesley Ensor

At 18:41 earlier this evening, Warwickshire Fire & Rescue Service sent two fire engines to a report of smoke coming from a derelict building. One appliance from Atherstone and one from Polesworth proceeded. The incident was located on New Street, Baddesley Ensor. On arrival the crews confirmed a fire had been located in a two storey derelict building, approximately 30M by 30M in size. Fire-fighters fought the fire from outside the building using a hose reel jet. Fire crews were committed at the incident for 1 hour.
