Warwickshire Fire Service were requested to attend a road traffic collision on the Coventry Eastern Bypass. The call was received at 08:37am on Friday 31st July 2015. Two fire engines from Rugby attended along with a fire engine from West Midlands Fire Service and the Road Traffic Collision Unit from Coleshill stood by awaiting confirmation of any persons trapped. The incident involved one lorry which had overturned, crews confirmed that there were no persons trapped in the vehicle and that there was a small amount of fuel leaking from the lorry. Firefighters managed to contain the fuel spillage. The Police also attended.
