At 09:16 hours on Sunday 19.6.16, a call was received into the Emergency Control Room of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service to a road traffic collision that had occurred on the Fosse Way near Moreton Morrell. Fire crews from Wellesbourne and Leamington Spa Fire Stations were mobilised. Upon arrival, fire fighters found one land rover on the roadway that had been in collision with a tree. The vehicle had been in collision with a deer prior to hitting a tree. Two casualties were involved, one male was assisted from the vehicle prior to the arrival of the Fire Service and one female was released from the vehicle using clan lucas cutting equipment. Police, land Ambulance and Air Ambulance were also in attendance. Fire crews were detained for just over 1 hour.
