Derelict Building Fire, Saumur Way, Warwick – two fire engines attended

An emergency call reporting smoke in the Saumur Way area of Warwick was received this evening, Friday 21st April at 1908 hours.  The fire crews discovered a fire in the roof space of a two storey derelict building and used a ladder and hose reel from a fire hydrant to put the fire out.  Police were requested to the location as the fire was believed to have been started deliberately.  Crews were at the scene for one hour.
