At 14:33 hours on the 29th October 2017 a call was received into the Emergency Control Room of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service to smoke issuing out of a building. Two fire engines from Nuneaton Fire Station were mobilised. Upon arrival, firefighters found that the fire was located in a rubbish chute. Crews used 2 breathing apparatus, hose reel jet, hydrant, thermal image camera and small gear to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were detained approximately 30 mins.
